In June 2025, representatives of Prometheus MedTech.AI had the honor of participating in South Summit Madrid, one of Europe’s largest and most renowned gatherings of startups, investors, and innovation leaders.
Our startup was recognized as one of the Top 10 Health Startups in Europe out of over 4,700 global applicants — an achievement that reflects both the urgency of the problem we are solving and the strength of our AI-powered technology, Ultra Echo Scan (UES).
Our Chief Medical Officer, Wiktor Strzelczyk, presented UES on the stage, showcasing how our system supports the early detection of congenital heart defects in newborns using artificial intelligence. The pitch sparked valuable conversations around the future of digital diagnostics, clinical accessibility, and the impact of technology on pediatric care.
Throughout the summit, our delegation — Wiktor, Tomasz Bartosiak, and Piotrek Ściegienka — engaged in high-level discussions with investors, health tech leaders, and fellow founders. From expert panels and workshops to informal meetups, South Summit provided the perfect stage for exchanging ideas, building partnerships, and exploring international opportunities.
We’re especially proud to have represented Polish innovation at an event attended by key global figures — including His Majesty the King of Spain and the Prime Minister, who personally met with selected finalists.
