Prometheus MedTech.AI Advances to Top 40 in K-Startup Grand Challenge 2025!

We’re proud to announce that Prometheus MedTech.AI has advanced to the Top 40 startups worldwide in the prestigious K-Startup Grand Challenge 2025 (KSGC)!

This recognition is more than just a milestone — it’s a chance to strengthen our presence in Korea, refine our market entry strategy, and connect with visionary partners who share our mission: saving newborn lives through early AI-driven cardiac screening.

Why This Matters

The K-Startup Grand Challenge is one of the most competitive global startup accelerators. This year’s 10th edition attracted 2,626 applications from 169 countries, and being selected to the Top 40 places Prometheus among the world’s most innovative and impactful early-stage companies.

For us, this achievement reflects both the urgency of the problem we are solving and the global relevance of our solution:

• Every child deserves a chance at a healthy life.
• Early detection of congenital heart defects (CHDs) makes that possible.
• Artificial intelligence is the key to making it scalable and accessible everywhere.

The Road Ahead

As part of this next stage, we are also thrilled to participate in The Global Startup in Jeju, running under the K-Startup Grand Challenge 2025 program. Taking place September 1–5, 2025, alongside the APEC Global Startup Side Event and the Small and Medium Enterprises Ministerial Meeting (SMEMM), the initiative is designed to:

• Strengthen KSGC’s global presence
• Help participants adapt quickly to Korea’s business environment
• Provide invaluable networking opportunities with investors, policymakers, and ecosystem partners

This unique platform not only validates our innovation but also accelerates our mission of bringing Ultra Echo Scan (UES) — the world’s first AI-based screening test for early congenital heart defect detection — into clinical practice across Asia.

Representing Prometheus in Korea

During this crucial stage of the program, our CEO APAC, Piotr Ściegienka, will represent Prometheus MedTech.AI on the ground in Korea, working closely with local stakeholders to ensure the successful integration of our technology into the healthcare system.
