How it works?
Regardless of the ultrasound device they have, during the examination (second trimester of pregnancy), the doctor systematically records a 2D clip showing the work of the fetal heart. We want to validate the software for as many devices operating on the market as possible in the upcoming project phase. Then, they upload it to their user account on www.ultrapregnascan.pl, where the algorithm will be implemented. There, within about 1 minute, they receive feedback (with at least 98% accuracy) on whether a heart defect in the fetus has been detected, and in the future, also on what type of defect is involved.
Our algorithm supports doctors’ diagnoses and is also intended to provide them with greater security in case of potential claims from patients.
Ultimately, Ultra Pregna Scan (UPS) will also be capable of working with widely available PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication Systems) and integrating directly with the interfaces of devices, such as ultrasound machines.
